Would you look at this fancy new home of mine on the interwebs?
It's taken me a long time to figure out what design aesthetic I was really going for. If anyone follows me on pinterest, it would seem evident that I have a thing for glitter and sequins.
I've struggled with a 'Goldilocks picking out a bed complex' for a while - trying to figure out how she should look. I know the things I like, but I like a lot of things that aren't necessarily meant to go together.
Beyond that, I have a strong penchant for anything monochrome. The grays, the black, and white. A classic font.
I have absolutely no idea how to accomplish those things on my own.
I am so thankful for her and what she has come up with. Even from the first email exchanged, she was genuine and personable without compromising professionalism. She made me feel like a priority as a client, and she was attentive to making sure the final design was to my liking and that the process wasn't over until it looked the way I thought it should (translation: she was super patient with me, because I am the most indecisive person).
She's incredibly talented and I can't say enough to recommend her to others. Check out her designs and the services she offers. There's a little something for everyone!

In other news, while Christmas for most people is on 12/25, I celebrated with my family last night. (Because, Merry Christmas I'm flying for the next two weeks!)
It was still really special, and consequentially, kind of like a winter birthday because I was the only one opening presents.
Also, I would like to say that creating a pinterest wish list board is the best thing to ever happen to gift giving. For anyone else that struggles with "What do you want for Christmas/your birthday?" and then stares blankly at the person, it was a great way to keep track of things I liked - but more on that later.
Have such a happy day. The weary world rejoices!
